Can I use a seed phrase with my wallet?
Using a seed phrase is optional. Tangem offers three ways to generate your keys: Hardware-generated keys, app-generated seed phrase, and import from another wallet. Keep in mind that seed phrases can be duplicated or stolen, unlike private keys generated and stored offline.
Will I lose access to my funds if my phone is lost or damaged?
No, you won’t lose access. Simply use your Tangem card or ring with any compatible smartphone to download the Tangem app and access your portfolio. Your phone never stores sensitive data—it only acts as a convenient interface.

If you prefer, you can still create an app-generated seed phrase or import an existing wallet. Hardware-generated keys stay offline and can't be duplicated like a traditional seed phrase.
