DCan I purchase the ring separately from my existing Tangem cards?
Unfortunately, no. The Tangem ring NZ is sold exclusively as a set, which includes two backup cards for secure key storage.
What if I lose my ring?
Losing something as valuable as your ring can be unfortunate — but don’t worry, your funds remain completely safe. You can still access your wallet using the backup cards.
Even if someone finds your ring, they won’t be able to unlock or reset your wallet. Your access code safeguards it against any unauthorized access or brute-force attempts.
Can someone access my funds just by tapping my Tangem Ring while I’m wearing it?
No — the ring needs to be taken off your finger and tapped directly on your smartphone. Additionally, you must enter your access code or use biometric authentication to open the Tangem app, ensuring complete security.
Can I use a seed phrase with the Tangem Ring?
Yes. The Tangem Ring offers the same functionality as the latest Tangem Wallet, allowing you to generate or import a seed phrase. It’s also fully compatible with all second-generation Tangem cards.
Can multiple rings be connected to a single wallet?
Yes. If you purchase two or more Tangem Ring sets, you can link them together to create secure backups for one wallet.
